New 128 GB Flash Drives

January 28th, 2011 · No Comments

Don’t you think it would be nice to finally have a 128 GB flash drive? It’s like having an external storage drive without having to carry big, heavy, and bulky device. Talk about flexibility and convenience!

Well, the news have been around about the flash drive. In 2008, some computer manufactures made 64 GB flash drives, and then several fake products were made out of the originals – especially products from China – but no companies have really come out with 128 GB products.

But that’s about to change with Kingston releasing a 123 GB flash drives, with Data Traveler series 200 available in three sizes: 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB. They can be ordered and bought from Amazon and other official online sellers.

Aside from Kingston, Corsair, Super Talent, Unique IT, and Team x091 have all released 128 GB flash drive. But you need to be careful since Sony or Samsung doesn’t release any 128 GB flash drive at present. To detect any fake, you should check the serial number burned into the connector. The fakes won’t have such numbers.
