First time I knew about Solid State Drive (SSD) is from SanDisk. Its technical feature was really catch my interest. You can expect a significant reduction of power consumption on your notebook while you will get an improvement of physical robustness when you’re using SSD on your Laptop on Notebook.

During Computex exhibition in Taipei, several companies unveil their SSD products. Its looks like the SSD era is coming and soon it will replace HDD as the main data storage on mobile computer. I hope by the increasing number of company producing SSD, soon we can buy it on retailer and of course with a lower price. At the moment we can only wait and be patient.
