Growth of computer users and increasing number of latest model of computer generating environmental problem. Approximately 900.000 tons of old computers disposed in the USA alone every year. This number will be increased as more computer manufactured and sold every day.
The only way to reduce the environmental impact is producing biodegradable or eco-friendly computer. High potential source to produce biodegradable computer is using degradable plastic material from corn starch. Starch is a good polymer and possible to use in another forms. With this biodegradable plastic, the future computer case will not affect environment badly. Another option to increase eco-friendly factors to every computer is using nano-technology to reduce metal requirement on chip and circuit.
Future generation laptop will also have its own solar panel to generate power and it has an indicator when its material starting to decay. With this new technology, increasing PC or laptop production will not add more toxic and non-degradable waste.
