There is a protection on your iPhone which you can track its location through MobileMe account. So if your iPhone is stolen, you can easily know its location and find it. But, wait.. If the thief is smart enough, he can turn off this feature. What he needs to do just enter the MobileMe account, then find the Find My iPhone feature and then turn off it right from your iPhone. Simple, is it? After doing this, he will reset your iPhone and then he get the new iPhone (new stolen iPhone).
So, we have learned here that protect your iPhone with password is important. So you can track it wherever it is. But, not sure if the thief takes out your SIM card, will Find My Location feature still work?
About Find My Location, it is the best app of iPhone which Apple had showed off on WWDC in Sunday. Besides it can track your iPhone location, it also can send harassing message to the thief and so.
However, there are some improvements needed here. But thanks to Apple, at least this app will help someone to get back his stolen iPhone if the thief is not smart enough. Isn’t it?
