Dell Latitude E6400 XFR, A Tough Bad Boy

March 10th, 2009 · No Comments

When I look at this Latitude XFR D630 laptop form Dell, I always think that this one should be a Robocop’s companion. Just look at the “armor” guarding the device. It looks very strong and solid. It is actually an armor. They called it the PR481. It protects the insides from direct impact (made of magnesium alloy) and also from direct blast of water.

Let’s see what’s inside this shelled laptop got inside. A Core 2 Duo is accompanied by a 256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160. For better display, an integral Intel 4500MHD is paired with a sunlight readable 14.1 inch WXGA monitor. It is wrapped in a 2.2-inch shell and weighs about 8.5 pound which makes it thinner by 15% and 5% lighter the its predecessor.

How much is it? Yu can take this bad boy home with $4,299.
