External HDD with USB 2.0 and LAN Connection

Buffalo recently announced the updates of their external data storage the HD-CELU2 series with richer functionality. The HD-CELU2 features 2 type of data connection via USB 2.0 and LAN connection so it can serve as NAS (Network Attached Storage) as well. In front of the console there is a switch to select the connection mode and it’s adopting power saving mode technology by stopping disc rotation when it detect idle data transfer. The HD-CELU2 series are available in 3 storage capacity starting from 500 GB, 640 GB and 1 TB. The 500 GB model has suggested retail price around 186 USD and the 1 TB price around 260 USD.
