FCC Approval for Nokia 8202 CDMA

Although Nokia has been so popular with their GSM phones product, but it seems they want to participate in CDMA phone market as well. In this purpose, Nokia wants to start distributing their CDMA phone in United States region. But it still unsure will Nokia take North American as their retail. For nice beginning, Nokia gets its nice first step as FCC has given their approval for Nokia to enter US market for their CDMA phones.


The dual side of mechanism is adopted by this CDMA phone, Nokia 8202, just like it is on N85 and Nokia N96. It is still unknown whether this phone is based on S60 OS. But notice that almost Nseries and Eseries of Nokia based on S60, so it seems no exception for this one.

The remaining features of Nokia 8202 are:

* 3 Mpx camera with flash
* Bluetooth 2.0
* FM Radio
* GPS
* 3.5mm headphone jack
* 150MB of built in internal memory that expandable through its 16 GB microSD card
* 2.2-inch 240×320 16M of color display
