After trying Grand Paradiso. If you are not patient to wait the next generation of Firefox, you can try nightly build Firefox 3. It’s codename is Minefield. You can install it, side-by-side with current Firefox version 2. Since both version uses add-on utilities, the latest version will scan on the same add-on directories but in my computer many of those add-on are still not compatible with Firefox 3. Only Adblock plus, Forecast fox, and No Script are running out of box.
According to ArsTechnica the firefox minefield is 10 % faster than Google Chrome.
But it still has some bugs, so beware if you use it. I noticed of inconsistence font display when I write this post using Minefield. However in my opinion the overall performance is much better than version 2. So lets wait for the stable version of Firefox 3

Minefield is good but when working with Adobe Reader it is the ugliest. I apprecialte if you can develop it to work with Adobe Reader
