This tool can help you to archive files in some formats like 7-zip, ARC, SQX, CAB, RAR, ACE and ZIP. ISO9660 format of CD/DVD image can also be readed and decompressed (.NRG, .CMI and .ISO).

ZipGenius can produce pics from TWAIN device such as old digital camera and scanner or external drive unit. Using ZipGenius you will be able to get the pic preview as thumbnail in your compressed archive.

Other than that, this freeware has good data protection which not only it uses password protection but also makes the CZIP (encrypted zip file). That CZIP is produced using today’s encryption algorithmns such as TwoFish, BlowFish as well as Rijndael (AES). In case one wants to share that encrypted zip with others do not have ZipGenius, he just needs to convert it to the executable CZIP file. That executable CZIP file will be able to decrypt itself. Finally the non ZipGenius user doesnt need to install ZipGenius for this purpose.

The tool has customizable interface, lets you change its skin look including icons in toolbar, ZipGenius sidebar as well as file list color and font type.
