OpenOffice is the free office app that equipped with spreadsheet, word processor, database plus presentation graphics program. Those all are compatible with Microsoft Office and also featured with math and drawing package besides HTML editor. Using OpenOffice you can export a document in open office document format that will compatible with other office suite such as Lotus Symphony Suite.

This download is the latest update (minor) of OpenOffice 3 that contains some changes. The most visible change is the new Start Center, zoom control and fresh icon in its status bar. As for the remaining improvement is Notable Calc includes the latest solver component along with spreadsheet collaboration support via workbook sharing. The other one is its increase of 1024 columns in each sheet.

The other improvements are notes feature plus multiple pages display when editing in Writer. And you will also find improvement on Chart enhancements along with crop feature (in Draw and Impress).
