Many people may not know that they can take screen shots of their screen and save it as picture.

There is also a shortcut key “Print Screen” by default in Windows that enables you to take screen shot but it has several limitations. You can’t take small particular area (the entire screen capture takes lot of resources and time), you don’t get choice to automatically store the file as image in a particular location (process is manual) etc.

Screenshot Captor 2.72.01 can save your screenshots of whole screen easily. It has got some unique features that enables you to take screen shots of a particular portion or application window. It also allows you to add special effects for the captured screen or compression for the image as well as different formats you want to save your image in.

There is also an option that gives you choice if you want to hide cursor in the screenshot or include it.

The software needs to be configured before using it for the 1st time, the shortcut key can be set and also the compression, the file format of image etc.
