Nokia has made more people wish come true by releasing a new firmware with geotagging capabilities. It’s a location tagger application which designed to work on older mobile phone production lines which based on S60 3rd edition. Nokia Geotagger application allows your mobile phone to tag your location data automatically on your pictures.
As you take a picture, your GPS coordinates are saved to the EXIF header of the JPEG file. You can use this data later, for example, to locate your pictures on a map. Since the older mobile phone doesn’t have integrated GPS receiver, you may need either an added GPS receiver, or an external Bluetooth GPS receiver module.
The location tagger is tested with: Nokia N95, N95 8GB, N82, E90, N73 and should work with all Nokia devices based on S60 3rd edition. But due to it’s beta version, this application is released for experienced user and for testing purpose only.
