HP Elitebook 2730p is a tablet PC aiming for business and professional user. The table PC was designed to meet high standard of MIL-STD 810F and therefore it should be ready to be carried along to any place. The HP Elitebook 2730p is dust-proof and able to work on high altitude and high temp environment. It is designed to shear less and bend less, which should make it more resistant especially for the display hinge. The surface looks nice and seems hard to scratch. The tablet PC features a 12.1-inch touchscreen with WXGA resolution, Intel ULC Core 2 Duo processor, up to 8 GB of DDR2 RAM and 80/120 GB HDD.

This is quite an efficient and portable Tablet PC: it is light, has decent performance for desktop applications and most importantly, the battery life is excellent. This alone makes me want to use it at places like conferences where access to electricity might be limited. The construction quality is also top notch. Except for the display, and for the fact that it might look too “office-like” for some (it’s a business computer after all!), it’s hard to find anything wrong with this Tablet PC.
