February 12th, 2008 · No Comments

Leaving your hard drive unprotected is fine when there is nothing important inside it. But imagine when you save a huge data of social security number of your employee and transport it else where using external hard drive, you need a strong data encryption before doing that. The data encryption should be strong enough so no one can read it without a correct code.

IONTEK, a Korean based security solution has released ezSECU 850 a Hard disk enclosure with data encryption. The ezSECU 850 has a big touchscreen to manage your secret identification number. It is easy to set up and using the ezSECU 850. Just open the enclosure, plug your 2.5-inch SATA HDD and set your personal code to encrypt the data. Once the HDD encrypted, it become unreadable without this enclosure and the code. So even if someone stealing the HDD he won’t be able to read the data instead of destroying it.
