August 12th, 2010 · No Comments

Want a map for your Nokia phone? There are many map apps available for Nokia. One of the latest mobile map apps that will gives you direction, gps support, and a lot of great content is Locago. With this app you can also browse Wikipedia articles, Flickr images, weather forecasts, city guides, and worldwide webcams.

This app will allow you to locate your friends and get local with Yahoo local. Beside that you can also search for addresses and create directions for pedestrians. You can also use the open API to create new layers with your favorite content. Locago can operate in most standard Nokia phones with Java, MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1, and at least 1.5 MB free space. 3G network will also be an advantage but it is not required.

Unfortunately at this time Locago is not supporting phones with touchscreen and stylus. It may be work partially, but will not fully supporting such as the scrolling and zooming on a touch screen won’t work. If you are not sure whether your phone can support it or not, you can browse your mobile browser at get.locago.com and fill in your phone number. This app is available for free at ovi store.
