MSI is well known for its affordable laptop products but it doesn’t mean that this notebook manufacturer doesn’t have their premium line up which can be seen from their latest batch of not-very-affordable laptops. Just recently, they launched 3 series of laptops which are known as PX600, PR201 and EX620. Duh! Can’t they find another friendlier names with familiar sounds?
Any way, for PR201 you need to pay it 88,000 yen (about $900) and 130,000 yen for EX620 (that’s around $1,340) and my guess is the real price could be higher than that. Nothing much we can say about the MSI PR201 specs. They look too standard such as a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T4200 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. Rounding things out is the 16-inch MSI EX620, which mixes things up with some ATI Radeon HD 3470 graphics and a Blu-ray burner, among other fairly standard specs. No word on the price of the more premium MSI PX600.
