Olympus E-30 is a midrange Digital SLR camera with 12.5Mpix and 11 AF points. The E-30 has an ISO range from 100 to 3200, a 5fps RAW shoot mode and a swivel mounted LCD. If we compare the Olympus E-30 with other Olympus’ digital SLR lineup it fill the gap between E-520 and E-3. Beside it’s decent features such as like Face Detection, Shadow Adjustment Technology and In-body Image Stabilization, the Olympus E-30 also includes six in-camera special-effects “Art Filters,” that mimic Warhol pop art.
Olympus E-30 DSLR Reviews
Crave’s review on Olympus E-30 it writes:
-the E-30 sounds like it might be a really nice camera. It has the same extremely fast AF system as the E-3, which I increasingly appreciate. It also incorporates a flip-and-twist LCD, which makes Live View a lot more useful and which none of its big competitors offer. While the viewfinder isn’t as big as the E-3’s, it still sounds better than most of the others. It has a built-in electronic level, like the Nikon D3,
DPreview’s review on Olympus E-30 writes :
The E-30 is considerably larger than the E-520, both is width and height but is less tall than the E-3, thanks to its new viewfinder. The other obvious exterior feature is the camera’s tilt and swivel LCD. It’s a 2.7″, 230,000 dot unit, meaning it can show the same level of detail as the E-3, though not in the same league as the latest offerings from several other manufacturers that are beginning to feature 920,000 dots on screens of similar sizes. Like its mid-range peers, a battery grip (HLD-4) is available. It also offers a distinctly professional 1/8000th sec fastest shutter speed and 1/250th sec maximum flash sync speed.
