It looks like the owner of Asus Eee PC 1000h will become the first netbook user who embrace windows 7 Operating system. According to Joanna Stern who runs a test of Windows 7 on Asus EeePC 1000h, the test result was promising. The Eee PC 1000h running a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor and 1GB of RAM handles the windows 7 operating system pretty well. It takes 58 seconds for the system to boot the OS. The improved Network Manager feature on windows 7 might just be perfect for netbooks such Asus Eee PC and connecting to available wireless network was simple.

Alltel and Samsung announced the release of Samsung Delve today. The Samsung Delve was rumored to be available via U.S. Cellular, but apparently the Alltel made it. Samsung Delve is a full-touch handset that has a similar design to Samsung Instinct and also they both have similar features. Combined with Alltel technology the Samsung delve will come with nuTsie. This is a music application from Alltel that allows users to get music from an extensive nuTsie catalog, as well as to stream iTunes play lists. Samsung Delve is priced at $199, with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. For the moment, the Delve can only be pre-ordered, via Alltel’s website. The handset will go on sale starting November 6, both online and in retail stores.

The new phone from Alcatel The OneTouch OT-i650 is targeted for entry level phone user who only care about the phone true functions. The Alcatel OneTouch OT-i650 is a small, well-built, “sporty” phone that comes with a flashlight, among its other low-end features. It offers up to 12 hours of talk time, 30 days on standby, and has a music player, FM radio, and 1.3M camera. What’s more, there’s a so-called G-sensor on-board the Alcatel OT-i650, which is just a fancy way of saying it has a built-in accelerometer.
