Nowadays, Skyfire has reached 1.0 version. Using Skyfire, your browsing experience will be better and it is also a nice choice than using the built in browser on your Symbian or WinMo device. In future Blackberry fans will get benefit from Skywire. So what makes this browser looks special?
This web browser offers the PC-like browsing experience for mobile phone users. There is no need for re-endering and scalling anymore. Using proxy server technology, it does the downloading before squirting users over the compressed image. When comparing YouTube browsing on built-in S60 browser and Skyfire, the difference will be noticeably. The built-in browser will be slow over 3G and WiFi while Skyfire will load the actual page (not only the mobile version) and capable to embedd the video on zoomable page. The page is also can be bookmarked.
The lack here is Skywire can not work on your 5800 device or other Symbian series 5 devices and also there is no tabbed browsing on Skywire. It does not matter tought, however it makes the Skyfire even better.
