Samsung MONDI MID Review

July 28th, 2009 · No Comments

Folks over at PC World have made their review of Samsung MONDI MID. This device has WiMax service. So according to that review Samsung MONDI’s operating system, the Windows Mobile 6.1 is not so pretty in work and they name it sluggish. Unfortunately, the company seems not to upgrade this Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5 once it is available.

Other than that, Samsung MONDI’s home screen that supports widgets seems rather skint. You will find these widgets on it: time/date/weather, Phone, IM, appointments and email. But however, the review admits its Opera Mobile with its admirably job (plus Flash Lite support). Its TouchWiz UI has some lacks on some flicks that happen when it is flipping its 3D cube-style interface.

With the price tag of Samsung MONDI that $300 (with subsidies) or $400 (unsubsidies) you can take the better choice if you can ignore its WiMax support. This device has slide out keyboard and its touchscreen is 4.3-inch 800 x 480. The review also says that its keyboard is poor.
