Have you ever heard of Blackberry Curve 8520 from Verizon? Yes, the device comes with the price tag of $99.99 on its 2 yrs contract. Don’t you know that adding a few dollars more you can get the better, Blackberry Tour 9630? The latter, 9630 comes with WiFi support, optical trackpad, better keypad, better camera and better international support. Looking at the older 8520, Blackberry 8530 comes with GPS and EV-DO Rev. 0. networks.
The 8530 has the beauty design and 105 g of weight, it is solid in your hand. It has fiber plastic battery cover and rubberized sides. This result in the good grips without creaks. The keypad is the easy to use one. However it still has the quite poor snapper and wobbled trackpad.
The call of 8530 is good in quality along with the relative good speaker for just $99.99. But the QVGA display is not a nice idea for watching YouTube video.
The 8630 runs on OS 5.0.0.337 smoothly that supported with its 528MHz processor. We still can find issues like freezing up on this handset that becomes subject for fixed in future.
