The Silverlight and Full Flash Support in Browser are Planned by RIM

August 25th, 2009 · No Comments

Folks over at BGR have gathered informations about this since a months ago or earlier. So now we can say that it is confirmed that RIM (Research In Motion) is in their planning to integrate the Microsoft Silverlight and full Flash support to web browser of Blackberry. It must be noticed that the support is for full Flash and not Flash lite.

Unfortunately the Blackberry users must wait for this plan to be realized. The plan may be realized after the next summer or before. This is because RIM needs to beef up their devices and also makes them have access to the higher data speed. This way, that new support for Blackberry web browser can work effectively (on LTE and HSPA). So far, over 10Mbps of downloads have been reached by RIM on their next Blackberry generation. That result is in the test lab with test LTE equipment.

And lastly, we have heard that if things go smoothly, we can expect to see Blackberry 9700 on AT&T on Friday. So..stay tune.
