Skype for iPhone User

Following its competitors, Nokia and Sony Erricson, which previously running Skype application on their mobile phone, now Apple is having Skype on its smartphone, iPhone. iPhone users can communicate to other Skype users on 3G or WiFi. On Skype’s official website it is said that Skype-to-Skype calling on 3G is currently free until the end of 2010. It means that in early 2011 there will be a monthly fee to use this function through 3G. Yet Apple and Skype mentioned that it would be a small fee. Some users commented that it sometime would be a trouble when chatting with more than one person at one time.

If you already have Skype account, you can easily sign in once you downloaded its application. But not to worry, if you don’t have it, you can create an account through Skype application on your iPhone. If you have something else to do on your iPhone, you don’t have to log out from Skype, instead you are signed in and you can go back to Skype application after open other application. One more benefit is there would be no significant decrease on battery life, even you are making Skype-to-Skype calls during three hours. For you that already have Iphone and are Skype user, it is the best way to communicate with friends from all over the world.
