Sony Ericsson Android Smartphone Takes OS 2.0

Peter Ang, the Vice President of Marketing of Sony Ericsson said on the event in Taiwan that the coming Android based smartphone of the company will come in near future. The Android smartphone will use version 2.0 of Android. Further more he said that now the manufacture directs the most effort for creating it than WinMo and Symbian other products. As for the user interface, it will come from Sony Ericsson.

As for the detail info on the product, Peter Ang has not gave his further statement yet. But some other rumors out there say that the smartphone of Sony Ericsson will be available on market by end of this year. Operator Orange is the chosen carrier of Sony Ericsson for its Android smartphone in Europe.

But this info is not yet confirmed formally. Further more, it seems that we can wait for other information regarding new issue of the company in relation with Symbian and WinMo operating system, as Peter Ang has said his promise for that.
