Tablet Products from Asus

January 30th, 2011 · No Comments

Asus seems to have been busy lately. With the coming 2011, the company has decided to reveal its plan in launching several devices simultaneously.

The first one is the combination of notebook and tablet; the Eee Pad Slider. The 10.1-inch device comes with touchscreen feature and also sliding out QWERTY keyboard. It’s equipped with two cameras; the front 1.2 megapixels camera and the rear 5 megapixels one, designed for digital photography and video chat. The device will run on dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC and use Android 3.0 OS.

The second one is a tablet, the Eee pad Transformer. The 10.1-inch device has touchscreen feature. It’s very slim and light, so it’s very easy to carry. There’s an optional additional docking slot that will change the Transformer into a notebook with QWERTY keyboard. The device also comes with front and rear camera. The battery can last up to 16 hours.
