Despite the effort of Hewlett-Packard (HP) to boost its 2133 Mini-Note sales performance, channel vendors expect the Eee PC to still lead in the low-cost PC market. The HP Mini-Note has a larger storage capacity because of its hard drive, but its overall performance, price and battery capacity come behind those of the Eee PC, according to sources in the channel.

Asus officially showcased the Asus PC Eee 900 in France. The France’s Eee 900 PC 12GB SSD models that offers a screen 8.9 “with a resolution of 1024×600, an Intel Celeron processor at 900Mhz, 1GB RAM, using Windows Lite operating system while the Eee 900 PC 20Gb SSD model offering Xandros Linux for the operating system.
