Lenovo recently announced Lenovo X200 a new Centrino 2-based ultraportable notebook. The X200 is the smallest member of the X-family (12.1-inch screen, 0.8-inches thin) and yet very powerful. All features such as powerful new Centrino 2 processor and all types of of wireless communication interfaces are enclosed inside a standard Lenovo case design which is functional and super-solid. It weigh only 2.9 pounds for the base model and it starts at a much more affordable $1199.

Dell’s mini notebook to be introduced on August

Dell is planning to introduce a low-cost notebook in August to join the low-cost notebook market, according to the market sources. The notebook will be manufactured by Compal Electronics, according to the sources Dell is coming to the low-cost notebook party relatively late, compared to other first-tier vendors such as HP and Acer. However, the Dell E series low-cost notebook will be priced at only US$299, US$100 cheaper than Acer’s Aspire one.

Toshiba announces their new laptop model lines Satellite Pro S300, Tecra M10, Tecra A10 and Qosmio X305, F55 and Cell-based G55 at the same time. Even though the Qosmios actually aren’t that new — all three of them were initially announced back in June, but they’re actually available now.

ASUS is going to launch its 11-inch premium leather notebook pc ‘U2E’ in Japan market, which features LED backlight display with 1366 x 768 resolution.Equipped with 32GB SSD, the U2E is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 processor(1.20GHz) and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. Other features included a built-in camera and fingerprints recognition functionality.

The M70S offers a fantastic movie watching experience thanks to its huge, crisp display, excellent sound system and Blu-ray drive. You can also store an unbelievable amount of your own movies and music on the M70 too, thanks to its unheard of (on a notebook at least) 1 terabyte of storage space. The systems only major drawback is the annoying media controls embedded in the touchpad. Not only are they difficult to control, but they include an area that disables the touchpad if you touch it accidentally, which was highly annoying.
